Pentney Lakes
This large water body is known locally as Pentney GPs. It is privately owned and is part of the Pentney Lakes Holiday Complex. Probably the best site in the NarVOS study area to find a rarity!
Species: Year round: Wildfowl, gulls, geese. Spring/Autumn: unusual Grebes, ducks and terns, White and Yellow Wagtails, rarities. Summer: Common Tern breeding colony.
Access: No public access but viewable from the minor road leading west from Pentney Village at TF715134.
