Massingham Heath
Massingham Heath is now mainly privately owned farmland with little natural heath remaining. It lies to the south and west of Great Massingham and includes an area more correctly known as Grimston Heath.
Species: Winter: Raptors, including Hen and Marsh Harriers, Buzzard and Rough-legged Buzzard. Short-eared Owl.
Access: Much of the area is good and there is a convenient viewing place at the road junction west of Great Massingham at TF767224. There is a public footpath running SW from here. Roadside parking.
